Vietnam veteran, Rick, takes a seat in Dr. Chan's chair

Dr. Jennifer Chan and her dental assistant, Justina, of Lakeview Dental Clinic in Lake Stevens, Washington, volunteered their time and skills to treat Vietnam Veteran, Rick Irish.
 
Rick was deployed to Vietnam where he was part of Special Handling, loading and unloading different classes of explosives in airplanes. Returning stateside, he was not aware of PTSD, though he had lots of flashbacks that lessened through the years. Those difficulties meant going through 3 marriages. He worked an array of jobs from logging, carpentry, construction, etc. He retired at 51 due to back issues and is hard of hearing. Presently, he enjoys metal detecting in the woods.
