Serving as a Wingman
The Wingman Program connects low-income, combat veterans and their families, with people and businesses within their community, to provide services and goods to increase their quality of life.
As a Wingman, you will be sent a Mission to provide the requested services and goods to the veteran and their family. You are encouraged to be creative, resourceful and have fun accomplishing your Mission. You can solve the Mission independently or with friends, colleagues, family members, businesses or strangers!

What are examples of services and goods the Wingman Program can provide? All services and goods that are provided to veterans and their families through the Wingman Program are placed within one of seven categories. Each category provides opportunities to enhance the quality of life for a veteran and their family. |
Here are a few ideas for accomplishing your Mission:
- Talk to local stores about donating equipment or supplies the veteran needs.
- Buy all the equipment or supplies yourself and give them to the veteran.
- Rally your book club or neighbors to go in together and get the equipment or supplies.
- Ask your neighbors if they have extra equipment or supplies to give to the veteran.
- Ask if your child would like to fundraise at school for the project.
